I wrote Baby Steps during the summer of 2017, in Boston. The concept behind the piece is: sometimes we try to go faster than we can; sometimes we’re stuck in a place, but we should leave. I tried to have this metaphor in mind when I was writing. When I finished the music, and I sent it to my friends Guz and Vale. They’re two extremely sensitive, generous and crazy talented people. We had a couple of skype sessions, and then they shot this master piece in Madrid, where they live. The first time I saw it, I was by my own, at 830am, at home in Boston. It just blew my mind. After watching it multiple times, I still have the feeling that I’ll discover something new the next time I see it. There’re multiple dimensions. Multiple stories inside each shot. It has an hypnotic vibe. I love it. I hope you enjoy this very special project.
